Purpose of Meeting

Community Group -

Midwest Speech Therapy would like to host a parent workshop that will be open to the public. While our company will be the one hosting and advertising the event to local families, the presentation will be giving by the regional ambassador ScreenStrong, a non-profit that empowers families to prevent screen problems and reclaim their kids from toxic screens (social media & video games). Their solutions are screen-smart, not screen-free. Their presentation focusing on replacing toxic screen use with healthy activities, life skill development, and family connections.

The Little Kids' Brains and Screens Parent Workshop is a 60-minute workshop that gives an overview of the science behind healthy brain development, effects of screens on the developing brain, symptoms of screen overuse & our solutions to prevent and reverse the effects of addictive screen habits with an emphasis on early childhood brain development.
