National Hunger Awareness Month Food Drive

Throughout September, BPL will be collecting non-perishable food for the Bloomingdale Township Food Pantry in conjunction with the village-wide National Hunger Awareness Food Drive! Please drop canned or boxed food in the library lobby donation bins. Visit our website for a list of most requested food at the pantry. Thank you!

Event Details

The sprawling, brawling Missouri River flows 2321 miles from its origin at Three Forks, Montana to the Mississippi River. Along the way, it has been the river of Native tribes, Lewis and Clark, traders, trappers, mountain men, homesteaders, cavalry posts, cattle barons, flatboats and steamboats, gold and silver rushes, oil and gas booms, and now sport fishermen and paddlers, Travel with John Lynn and experience the adventure of paddling all 2321 miles of “The Big Muddy” through Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.
