First introduced to art education in a Japanese internment camp, artist Ruth Asawa achieved success by creating handmade wire sculptures as well as figural public art (especially fountains). She also was a passionate activist for education in the arts. Learn about her life and work in this zoom program.

Art Historian Jeff Mishur presents this slide lecture. Mishur is an owner of Art Excursions, a company that provides private guiding, lectures/classes, and boutique art and culture tours in the United States.
