Wags to Whiskers (Registration Required)
Grades 1-6
Tuesday, August 4 | 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Students will learn ways body language reveals how we and our animal friends feel. Through games and activities, students will learn to safely interact with animals. This program brought to the library by the Dupage County Animal Services and, if available, they will be bringing a special pet guest.
"DuPage County Animal Services is bringing a surprise shelter pet as a guest of our program. By sending my child to this program, I understand foreseen and unforeseen events may arise during a hands-on interaction with an animal. Unforeseen events include, but are not limited to: animal bites, scratches, allergic reactions, or contact with pet saliva or other bodily fluids. Accordingly, I hereby waive any cause of action for liability against and agree to hold harmless DuPage County Animal Services and DuPage County for any personal injury that may occur during a program for myself or my children."
